SC 73, El Toro 43 In their final games of their sophomore season, the team’s balanced scoring allowed the sophomore Tritons to dominate El Toro from the opening tip to the final whistle. Enrique Oviedo and Cade Dewey tied for team-high points with 11 each. For the second game in a row, the sophomores had a 30-point fourth quarter lead and Coach Eric O’Toner went deep into the bench putting in 4th-string point guard and backup center Will King to run the offense. King displayed his handles on his first possession driving into the lane for an easy layup. The season and game ended with King driving left and getting the assist as his pin-point pass found team manager Zack Cadoff all alone in the left corner. Cadoff drained the three as time expired to end a great season. The sophomores finished second in league at 5-3 and 18-5 overall.
