| The Triton sophomore played Arnold O. Beckman High School in the finals of the Fountain Valley tournament. The game stayed close through the second quarter, but Beckman closed the second quarter on an 8-0 run to lead at halftime 34-26. That lead grew to 39-26, but then the sophomores came back to win 54-46 to capture their second tournament win of the season. Championship Game SCHS vs Beckman Won 54-46 It was close after the first quarter up by one 16-15. SCHS struggled in the second quarter giving up a season high 19 points in the second and trailing by 8 at half. The tritons brought it to within one point after three quarters. San Clemente took control and held Beckman to just 2 points in the fourth quarter. The Tritons were led by Tournament MVP Ben Hegewald with 24 points.
